Join Our Team to Inspire the Next Generation of STEM Explorers

Jobs at STEM

We are a small team building STEM Explorer for schools—missions, badges, and interactive quizzes that help kids see where STEM leads in the real world. These two roles support our classroom pilot—quiz content and school outreach. Apply if one fits you.

STEM Quiz & Curriculum

STEM Quiz & Mission Content Contributor

STEM Explorer is a school-focused side project: a gamified web app where students (roughly grades 4–8) complete STEM missions and chapter quizzes—multiple choice, true/false, matching, ordering, and open-ended questions—while exploring careers in AI, cybersecurity, robotics, and drones with Inventor Strat and Dr. Sol. We are piloting in classrooms and need help growing our quiz bank and keeping content kid-friendly and accurate.

What you'll do

  • Write and review age-appropriate quiz questions and answer explanations for STEM chapters.
  • Draft short mission intros and hooks that connect classroom topics to real-world STEM careers.
  • Play-test quizzes in the live app and flag confusing wording or difficulty spikes.
  • Incorporate feedback from teachers and students during school pilots to improve clarity and engagement.

What we're looking for

  • Background in K–8 education, STEM outreach, curriculum design, or a related field (student teachers and volunteers welcome).
  • Ability to explain technical ideas simply—password safety, robots, drones, or basic AI—without jargon overload.
  • Strong attention to detail for quiz accuracy, spelling, and consistent tone for young learners.
  • Bonus: experience with coding clubs, cybersecurity awareness programs, robotics (FIRST/VEX), or EdTech content.
School Partnerships & Outreach

School Partnerships & Pilot Coordinator

STEM Explorer is being tested in real classrooms. We need someone to help find pilot schools, coordinate with teachers, and gather structured feedback so quizzes and missions improve week by week.

What you'll do

  • Reach out to teachers, librarians, and after-school STEM programs about joining a short pilot.
  • Schedule intro calls, share onboarding materials, and answer basic questions about the platform.
  • Collect feedback from classrooms—what worked, what confused students, what to fix next.
  • Help document pilot results for our team and future school partners.

What we're looking for

  • Strong written communication and comfort emailing or meeting with educators.
  • Organized and reliable—able to track multiple classrooms and follow up on time.
  • Genuine interest in K–8 STEM education and equitable access to tech learning.
  • Bonus: teaching experience, PTA involvement, or connections to local school districts.
